Story Padlocks - Scroll

• Some scroll locks of the same design have a difference in scroll width such as  #603 . We are not listing these locks as seperate variations.
• Slaymaker purchased Trenton Lock and Hardware Co. in 1905. After the purchase Slaymaker manufactured some of the Trenton Scroll locks making some mechanism changes (Locking bolt and shackle spring). Slaymaker was granted a Scroll lock patent US Patent #496921 in 1893. We have not been able to identify any Scroll locks manufactured by Slaymaker between 1893 and 1905. There are a couple of Scroll locks that we have listed as being manufactured by Trenton, but in fact could have been manufactured by Slaymaker. This subject requires further research ... 2018.

Branford Lock Works

This is the only padlock Branford Lock Works manufactured. It was made in 3 sizes with minor design variations.
