S&G 826 - High Shackle - Patent Pending - Chrome Plated.
2 1/2" wide x 1 5/8" deep x 3/8" shackle diameter x 1 1/2" shackle clearance.
Cast stainless Steel body. Stainless steel shackle. I consider this to be one of
the very first locks made. This lock would be considered an 826A. It again is
chrome plated. "PAT. PEND." is stamped on the base of the body. "R 138" is hand
stamped on the base of the body. I believe this lock was used for testing. The
slide that is in the lock is not plated. Made for: United States Government. Mfg

S&G 826 "1972 NAVY" - Blank Reverse - Patent Pending - Chrome Plated.
2 1/2" wide x 1 5/8" deep x 3/8" shackle diameter x 1" shackle clearance. Cast
stainless Steel body. Stainless steel shackle. This lock would be considered an
826C. "PAT. PEND." is stamped on the base of the body. I don’t know why the word
"NAVY" was cast on the lock. The very first locks were chrome plated, after
testing they said the plating wasn’t required. Made for: United States Navy. Mfg

S&G 826 (1973-1975) - Blank Reverse - Chrome Plated.
2 1/2" wide x 1 5/8" deep x 3/8" shackle diameter x 1" shackle clearance. Cast
stainless Steel body. Stainless steel shackle. Commercial medico keyway. This
lock would be considered an 826C. The very first locks were chrome plated, after
