To open the lock: Count the correct number of clicks on each wheel, then push the panel on the side of the case, and the shackle will pop up. Doug named this lock after his dog "Casper".   January 23, 2003.

To open the lock: 1) Press the appropriate buttons to the correct level. 2) Turn the dial clockwise to release the shackle. Lock operation: You push the bit of the key in the eleven o'clock hole on the bottom brass plate to open the keyhole. The key will go in the keyhole but not all the way. You don't need the key to open the lock. With your left thumb push the key post down and hold. Right thumb push the pin in on the bottom plate and hold. Take left thumb off keypost pin and rotate brass plate on left side of lock 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Let go of pin on bottom and push pin in on left side to open lock. To reset turn brass plate on left side clockwise till it stops and keypost pin will pop up. Close keyhole cover.
